Information/Questions/Concerns from or for:

          Secretary/Treasurer

          The February Financial report was presented.

The current membership is 29.  It was requested that the membership list be circulated by e-mail to the current members.

Programs

The beginners classes held in January, February, and March were well received and there is still a waiting list. A HUGE THANK-YOU goes out to the organizer/instructors -Bob Dawson and Bill Dearborn.

Another HUGE THANK-YOU goes out to the host of the classes –Tory Neald.

The Relief Carving Class scheduled for the weekend of March 15-17 is going ahead with 7 participants

Website

Bill reported that the website is up to date and continues to draw traffic. Please be generous with pictures of your artwork and anything else that you would like to see on the website.

Newsletter

No report. Please see the above note. Samir does a great job on the Newsletter but can always use help with content

President

          German Club Display –Saturday June 7. No decision reached.

Sask Tel Max – Production for local cable will film at the Relief Class on March 17th.

March 20 – Sask Culture is hosting a luncheon on communications. Linda is planning on attending

Queen City Ex –July 30 – Aug 3, 2014

Initial planning is underway. Peter and Linda will work with the Board.

                  

Spring Woodworking Show – May 3 & 4, 2014

Information went out in the Newsletter

Table Registration, Banquet, and donations form is available on the website.

Contact Linda to be put on the Helpers List for:

          Set up- May 2 from 7 to 9

          Take down- After 3pm on May 4

          Carving demonstrations (sit and carve!) May 3 & 4.

          Banquet set-up – May 3 – about 3pm

          Taking responsibility for organizing and scheduling set-up, take down or carving demonstrations.

Business cards and Posters are available for publicity. Please do your part.

There are openings on the Sask Culture Board of Directors if you are interested.
